Forming a new company is like starting a romantic relationship. The early phase is emotionally volatile. You have to build confidence, establish a sense of fairness and balance. If one person feels he is investing more of his feelings, without reciprocation, the situation can quickly get out of hand, resulting in stormy mood swings ultimately leading to disaster. Continual contact and reassurance are essential.
